I love the science fiction and the menage mix! Enjoyed every page and didn't put it down until I was done! I can't wait until the next one.
In my opinion it's the great character development that sets this book apart from others. I'm not usually a sci-fi fan, but the seamless way it's woven into the story did not feel like the usual easy-out plot vehicle. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys a well-written, comitted menage story.
This novel is a wild erotic ride! It takes you to new worlds with all kinds of great characters. Sabina is a loveable, damaged woman. Her determination is matched only by her need for love. Walt is a sexy hard working rancher, with a huge loyal streak. He has always put the family's needs before his own, which just makes me want to see him happy. Both his brothers are sexy in different ways. Charlie is so sweet and innocent, while Dan is the constant flirt. Each will capture your heart in their own way! Dee Knight has created quite a place in the planet C8282. With it being somewhat like Earth, but all the differences are very imaginative. From the two suns to the scary creatures that roam at night, no detail was overlooked. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes a little sci-fi with their romance. - Ammie
A girl finds herself engaged to a powerful and abusive jerk, and escapes by signing a mail-order bride contract on a far away outpost. Three orphaned brothers are lonely and desperate for a wife, living in a remote area and working their huge cattle ranch. They decide to send for a mail-order bride to share, since they can only afford one- or are too cheap to pay for more than one. By the way, the outpost is a planet far away from a futuristic Earth where misogyny is the law. In typical romance fashion, when the girl steps off the shuttle and sees the brooding oldest brother there is immediate attraction. We find out that the abusive X has put out an intergalactic warrent for her arrest, but the man doesn't think she's guilty. They get it on in his hover truck on the way to the ranch after the truck breaks down and the man fends off a wild man-eating beast. Then he tells her that she's to be wife to all 3 brothers. She accepts this with little trouble, and spending a few weeks with the 2 younger brothers, she grows to love them, and worries that her former fiance will come and hurt them. He does come, but is sent to a remote place on their property where they have been having trouble with the man-eating beasts. When the men arrive, they find an empty car and 2 dead bodies. After days of tracking (our girl is left at home alone) they find the half-eaten corpse of the X. Of course, we jump to the girl, who sees a cute kitten-like creature which she follows to the barn where she is not immediately alerted to danger by the smell of blood and the conspicuous absence of the horse. She is nearly killed by the Beast, but is luckily saved by the brooding oldest brother. Happily ever after.

This was an enjoyable read, and I felt it was worth the price. The world was wonderful and well-thought-out with the exception of the misogynistic futuristic society, which I have trouble swallowing, and felt was really not absolutely necessary to the plot. I actually believed the fast acceptance of the 3-way,and thought the characters were well-developed for this type of novel. My biggest complaint was with the relationships. I liked her relationship with each of the brothers, but felt they should have been fleshed out better. More so, I felt that it was really not so much a true menage, but rather the primary relationship with the oldest brother, and benefits for the younger ones, especially the youngest, who it was said would eventually leave them to do his own thing. Also, although I don't mind easy resolutions in romance novels, I thought after all the build-up we would at least get to meet the sleezy ex and let the brothers intimidate him some before he died a terrible death by versa.

Overall, though, it was enjoyable and a good one-evening length.
I really did enjoy this book a new author for me and probably one I will follow further. Liked the futuristic theme to the story on a cowboy range. Love the triangle together worked out really well.
